Alessa is part of Tier1 Financial Solutions and is an industry-recognized software solution for compliance, controls monitoring and fraud prevention applications.
The solution is used by banks, credit unions, money services businesses (MSBs), casinos and fintechs for compliance to global anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and fraud prevention. Alessa also has a significant global footprint with organizations in the retail, healthcare, insurance and other corporate sectors with its continuous controls monitoring and fraud detection and prevention capabilities.
Alessa helps clients identify high-risk entities and activities early, engage the business to investigate and remediate any potential issues and comply with regulations. This is achieved by seamlessly making fraud prevention and compliance part of business day-to-day activities.
Chief Executive Officer
Jiro is responsible for the day to day operations, focusing on growth, scalability and happy customers. He has more than 30 years of experience in technology and capital markets. Prior to Tier1, Jiro was CEO and co-founder of Reval, the leading SaaS provider of treasury and risk management solutions. Prior to Reval, Jiro worked at WestLB, Deutsche Bank, BofA, DKBFP and Kidder Peabody.
Chief Financial Officer
Alan oversees financial planning, accounting, and legal at Alessa. He has more than a decade of experience leading finance teams, most notably with Attivio, later sold to ServiceNow. Alan also has a range of prior financial and operational experience including as a sell-side equity analyst at Merrill Lynch, sales strategy at Oracle, a management consultant with McKinsey, and as an attorney with Macdonald Affleck.
Chief Customer Officer
David leads Alessa's Client Services team to make sure our clients are getting the most value possible out of our products and ensuring they are receiving the highest quality of support they need. He spent 10 years at Bluewolf, an IBM company, where he helped build the Company’s managed services practices in the Midwest and Southeast regions of the United States.
Chief Marketing Officer
Staci leads marketing strategy, lead generation, and communications initiatives for Alessa. With 25 years of marketing experience in financial services and fintech, Staci was previously VP of Marketing Capabilities & Enablement at Prudential, Head of Global Head of Wealth Management Marketing at Thomson Reuters (now Refinitiv), and Director of Campaigns & CRM Strategy at Gain Capital.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Franca is responsible for the Human Resources and Organization Development of Tier1 with the goal of accelerating growth and organizational transformation. Prior to Tier1, Franca held Senior Executive Organizational Development and Human Resources positions with BTI Systems (acquired by Juniper Systems), St. Joseph Communications, CATENA Networks (acquired by CIENA), and Spar Inc. (acquired by DRS Technologies).

Megan oversees the revenue growth and expansion within new and existing customers throughout North America. She is passionate about helping clients solve the unique challenges that businesses face in an ever-changing regulatory world. Megan has over 10 years of proven success building high-growth sales cultures and implementing processes that lead to sales excellence. Prior to Tier1, she was VP Sales at Oversight Systems and a Senior Sales Leader at Paycom.
